Offensive content

1. Hate Speech

Hate speech creates an environment of intimidation and exclusion and can promote offline violence. That is why hate speech is not allowed at PJ.

We define hate speech as a direct attack on individuals based on protected characteristics: ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or disability.

The following content is not allowed:

Content that targets an individual or group of individuals based on their protected characteristic(s) or immigration status listed above.

Other derogatory statements, defined as follows:


  • Expressions that say someone is totally inadequate, for example: worthless, useless.
  • Expressions that say certain protected characteristics are better or worse than others, for example, "In my opinion, men are superior to women."
  • Expressions that say someone is deviating from the norm, for example: freak, abnormal



The following content is allowed:

Content that expresses one's opinion in a gentle manner and does not offend anyone.

2. Sexual content

PJ restricts the depiction of nudity or sexual acts because some members of our community find this type of content offensive.

Don't post:

  • Visual depiction of sexual activity
  • Description of sexual activity


This applies to text messages as well as media such as pictures, videos, or stickers.

3. Sexual contact

Contact that encourages, supports, or coordinates sexual activity (between members) is not permitted.

Please avoid posting:

Attempted coordination of, or solicitation for, sexual non-adolescent acts. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Filmed sexual acts
  • Explicit sexual contact, including offering or soliciting the following:


  1. Sex or sexual partners
  2. Relevant conversations
  3. Media with sexual content

4. Harassment

The following is not allowed:

  • Harassment of members in the community
  • Unsolicited contacting of other members (It is not allowed to contact other members in private chat in the public areas of the community without their prior consent).

5. Extreme content

Extreme content will make members of our community feel uncomfortable, so the following is not allowed:

  • Extreme political content (e.g., rationalizations and mood mongering).
  • Content of extreme world views and sects (e.g. with threats of violence) even if the content does not directly threaten, but only shows the organization / grouping.
